The Fund for Tomorrow supports ACDA programs that encourage new children's choirs, recruit and engage ACDA student members, and develop talented youth into new choral conductors and teachers.
Help grow new choral singers and develop
new choral conductors with a gift to the Fund for Tomorrow
Thank You to the Founding Donors of the Fund for Tomorrow!
Programs supported by the Fund for Tomorrow include the following:
Project: Youth Ascend
This program focuses on new and innovative ways to attract children into choral singing, as well as efforts to reach young people who may not otherwise have access to the artistry and community of choral music.
This is a new ACDA program that matches choral conducting students, new conductors, and even experienced conductors with established conductors for academic advice, career growth, and skill expansion.
ACDA offers scholarships to students to help them attend national and division conferences, and works to help lower the costs for children to participate in Honor Choirs at those conferences.
Other Special Initiatives
ACDA also works in other ways to help children and youth experience the joys of choral singing, and for talented students to pursue choral conducting. These include forming new ACDA Student Chapters, supporting activities of existing Student Chapters, and other ways of increasing student membership and engaging students more effective in ACDA activities and decision-making.
