What are you thinking? ACDA National Conference in Minneapolis, March 8-11? It's WINTER!
You won't need a coat once you check into your hotel. The Skyway will take you to most locations during the conference: Orchestra Hall, Convention Center, Dining options, etc... Central Lutheran is across the street from the Convention Center. Some may need a wrap for that intersection crossing, or venturing beyond the Skyway.
You must be registered by Midnight February 1, 2017 to receive reading packets.
Registration February 2, 2017 - March 5, 2017 cost increase and NO reading packets.

Business casual is a safe wardrobe choice for all conferences. Make sure to check the local weather anytime you travel.
How do I book a Reception or Reunion?
Reception and Reunions: Contact Margie Camp, email@example.com . Once a room is assigned you will be provided catering contact information and link to menus for the selected venue. Reception/Reunion expenses are between you and the venue. ACDA currently has space in the Hilton and Minneapolis Convention Center. Thursday, 03/09 is typically Reception / Reunion night. Deadline to book room and make the conference program is Deceember 15, 2016.
Need assistance with mobility?
We do permit scooters/wheelchairs to go to the Hilton, Hyatt, and Millenium hotels that are rented in our building by gaining access through the skyway system. We do not permit the scooters or wheelchairs to be used outside. The best way for your member to reserve a scooter/wheelchair is through the Mobility Shop Website: www.themobilityshop.com.
People are able to rent scooters/wheelchairs on site; however, it is a first come/first serve approach. The best way to ensure the scooter/wheelchair is renting it through the website.

EXHIBITS, ADVERTISING, & SPONSORSHIPS
The 2017 ACDA National Conference Exhibit Hall will be in the Minneapolis Convention Center. Exhibit Hours will be 9am-1pm and 2:30-6pm on Wednesday, 3/8, Thursday, 3/9, and Friday, 3/10 and 9am-1 pm on Saturday, 3/11. We will begin taking reservations on September 1, 2016.
The March 2017 issue of the Choral Journal will also serve as the official 2017 National Conference Program Book. We will begin taking reservations for advertising in the March 2017/National Conference Program Book on September 1, 2016. AD COPY DEADLINE for ads will be January 5th, 2017. In addition to our National Conference Program Book, we will also have an official 2017 ACDA National Conference APP (for phone & tablet). Advertising on the app will also be available for purchase beginning September 1, 2016.
There will be a multitude of Conference Sponsorships available for the 2017 Minneapolis Conference. Sponsorship information will be available beginning July 1, 2016.
Collegiate Honor Choir: This year's Collegiate Honor Chorus will be featured on the Unity Concert at the Minneapolis convention in 2017. In order to ensure that the choir has representatives from all 50 states, state ACDA presidents have been asked to nominate a quartet of singers to represent their state in the choir. Those nominated will be contacted directly.

Getting to downtown Minneapolis
from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) airport is quick and easy. Minneapolis-St. Paul
Airport is only 11 miles from downtown Minneapolis.
Metro Transit's Blue Line is the
cheapest way, and very convenient. Taxis are plentiful, with fares

Airport to Downtown Minneapolis
Transit's Blue Line light rail trains run directly to downtown
Minneapolis. There is a station at both Terminal 1 (Lindberg) and Terminal
2 (Humphrey), for trains to downtown Minneapolis. Follow the signs in the
five light rail stops in downtown Minneapolis - the Metrodome/Downtown
East, Government Plaza, Nicollet Mall, Warehouse District, and Target Field.
Your light rail ticket is also valid for use on Metro
Transit buses with no extra charge (Your ticket is valid
for 2.30 hours).
The one-way fare is $1.75 during
off-peak times, $2.25 during rush hour times. There are ticket machines which
take cash and credit cards at each station.
